Sarah Stafford
Bumblebee Head Teacher


Sarah was born in Jacksonville, FL, and lived in Lakeland, FL until 2004, when she moved to Cheyenne, WY.  She has worked at Best Friends since July 2010 and is the lead teacher in the Bumblebee Classroom.  She is currently working on her degree in early childhood education and got her CDA in June of 2009.  She has three children--Carson, who is 10 years old, Andy, 8 years, and Kaitlyn who is 3 years old.  She loves to spend time with her kids, read and cook.  She also loves to scrapbook when she has time.  Her favorite thing about kids is how they learn from everything!  She loves being part of the learning process!

Favorite Childhood Memory:  I will never forget the one time we took a vacation with our Mimi and Papa to the beach.  With such a big family and always having logs of young babies, it was hard to do lots of vacations.  We had such a great time building sand castles and collecting sea shells.




Kristine Atwood

Kristine grew up in Tallahassee, Florida and starting working at Best Friends in July 2010.  She graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.  She was a nanny for 5 months and is the oldest of 8 kids, and she's done a ton of babysitting before starting at Best Friends!  She got married to her husband, Kyle, in February 2010.  She loves arts and crafts, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, swimming, hiking and shopping.  Her favorite thing about kids is watching them get so excited about things and how their unconditional love.

Favorite Childhood Memory:  Just growing up in a big family and spending lots of time together.  My mom stayed home and played with us and my dad made our family his priority--I loved being with my family.






Stephanie Tremayne

Stephanie is from Mendon and grew up in Millville.  She has been working here for 2 years and started almost 4 years ago.  She ran her own daycare for 5 years and has run her own preschool for 3 years.  She has two kids and loves to scrapbook, playing card & board games, and some gardening (not weeding!)  Her favorite thing about working with kids in making them smile and laugh.

Favorite Childhood Memory:  Going to Europe with my grandparents for seven weeks when I was nine years old.
